Tru adds his powerful keyboard solos and rhythm to the Blue Roots sound to balance everything out. Who said this is a guitar-slinging band? Primarily using either electric piano or Hammond B-3 sounds, he stops an audience flat in their tracks night after night. He is a "true" professional. When Tru is not playing with Blue Roots, he is in the studio composing and arranging music for the educational and entertainment business. He is also Music Minister at a local church here on Long Island. Roland is his equipment of choice; which we joke with him that it is because it’s easy to carry.
